World Largest Coastal Cleanup

The Swachh Sagar Surakshit Sagar (Clean Sea Safe Sea) campaign on International Coastal Cleanup Day was one of the world's largest coastal cleanup drives. PSG coordinated across 836 beach locations with 10,570 organisations and 1,37,396 volunteers, collecting 7,38,354 KG (738 tons) of waste. States covered: Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Saurashtra, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa, Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar, and Orissa.
836 beaches, 1,37,396 volunteers, 738 tons of waste collected.
