Polythene Free

Plastic molecules have been found in vegetables, plants and drinking water. Plastic that enters our blood doesn't come out — ever. One polythene bag takes more than 1,000 years to decompose. India's plastic usage is low, but improper disposal is extremely high. PSG's Polythene Free campaign tackles this through awareness, eco-bricks, and community action.

Objectives

• Bring together people, experts, institutions and interested people working in waste management.
• Segregate waste into sellable, non-sellable and organic categories.
• Reduce single-use plastic entering landfills.
• Promote awareness for green homes and green campuses.
